NSPA- forum in Sundsvall


Mid Sweden European Office is a part of the network Northern Sparsely Populated Areas (NSPA). Every year the network are organizing a conference and this spring the NSPA- forum will be held in Sundsvall the 19 of April 2012.

Best practice of the month:

CO2Free

– Cooperating 2 Foster Renewables and Energy Efficiency

The CO2free-project will promote an increased use of ICT solutions to reduce energy consumption and the use of fossil fuels. CO2free is a project where 9 European regions have come together – lead by the ERNACT network – to promote and take action towards a world with less CO2.

The Association of Local Authorities in Västernorrland County together with Örnsköldsvik Municipality is one of the partners from the Mid Sweden region.

The CO2free-project will help reduce emissions of carbon dioxide through the dissemination and sharing of best practices as well as concrete working methods that can be implemented in other regions.
