Project monitoring and possibilities
The EU allocates funds to finance projects that promote the development of EU in all parts of society. In order to receive EU funding for a project there needs to be an added value in carrying out the project on EU level and there is often a requirement that more than one member state takes part in the project.
Mid Sweden European Office offers project counselling and assist with partner searches for projects. The office has a significant European network and can arrange contacts with both partners and best practice exchanges without external financing. The Mid Sweden European Office can also provide meeting possibilities for project partners.
EU funding programs
The Structural Funds are the financial support to the EU’s regional policy. The aim is to decrease the economic and social differences between the EU regions and to strengthen the competitiveness of the EU. The Structural funds are geographically limited and the member states administrate the programs. Mid Sweden European Office focus more on transnational and INTERREG programs than on the Structural funds.
